Branmar Veterinary Hospital is an individually owned and operated small animal (cats and dogs) hospital located in North Wilmington. We provide full service medical, soft tissue, surgical, dental and radiology services in a friendly, caring, home-like environment. We strive to provide quality care with reasonable fees so you can afford to keep your best friend healthy.
Branmar Veterinary Hospital has long established links with your community. The practice was first started by Dr. Brachman. In 1962, he opened the practice out of a little house on Marsh Road. He served the community until the mid 1980’s when he retired and sold his practice to the late Dr. Stephen P. Butler of Centerville. Dr. Butler formally incorporated the practice as Branmar Veterinary Hospital. His untimely passing resulted in the sale of the practice to long time employee Dr. Jennifer Scheiber.
The practice continued to grow and soon was very cramped in the little house on Marsh Road. To better serve the community a larger commercial facility was needed. A larger Victorian house was purchased at 1610 Philadelphia Pike and after 3 years of planning and construction, we opened in October of 2010.
